Technology choices, backed by evidence instead of momentum
Changrong Huicheng advises on computer technology and artificial intelligence: what to build, what to buy, and what to leave alone. Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed fee.
Four ways to work with us
Fixed fee and fixed scope, confirmed in writing before the first working session. Order online, or ask a question first.
AI Readiness Assessment
Where your data, systems and team actually stand against the idea you want to pursue. Delivered as a written assessment with the options and what each option assumes.
Technology Roadmap
A sequenced plan for the next four quarters: what to build, what to buy, what to retire, and the dependencies between them.
AI Pilot Build
A working prototype of the single use case the assessment ranked first, with the evaluation criteria agreed before the build starts.
Ongoing Technology Advisory
A monthly retainer for teams making several technology decisions per quarter: reviews, vendor shortlists and a fixed review call.

From question to working system
We start with what you already have
Interviews, systems, data and constraints. The first phase is about evidence rather than opinions, so the plan that follows is built on what is true in your environment today.

Fixed fees in US dollars, excluding tax. Each fee covers the scope on the card.
Notes on technology decisions
Notes on technology decisions, once a month
One email a month: what we learned on recent engagements, the questions worth asking before a build, and how to read a vendor proposal. Nothing else is sent to this list.
How the work is organised
Small teams and direct lines. The person on the scoping call stays on the engagement.
Technology advisory
Architecture, integration and vendor comparison
Systems reviews, build-versus-buy analysis, and shortlists with the criteria for comparing them stated up front.
Data and AI delivery
Data readiness, model choice and evaluation
Deciding what the data supports today, and how a pilot will be judged before anyone builds it.
Engagement management
Scoping, scheduling and written deliverables
Keeps the scope, the dates and the documents in one place from the first call through to handover.

Tell us the decision you are facing and the systems involved. You get an answer on what we would need to look at, and what it would cost.
Questions that come up before the first call
Do we need clean data before we start?
No. Establishing what is usable, what is not, and what would need work first is part of the assessment.
Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes, before any material is shared. Send yours or use ours; we sign either.
Do you run the system in production?
The pilot package delivers a working prototype, its documentation and the technical detail needed to decide on production. Hosting, staffing and rollout stay your decisions.
What if the assessment says we should not build it?
That is a common and useful outcome. The reasoning is written down, so the decision does not have to be reopened every quarter.
Is any of this billed by the hour?
No. Every package is a fixed fee, stated on the package card. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
Start with the assessment, not with the build
The readiness assessment is the smallest useful step: it establishes whether the idea is worth funding before a larger budget is committed.
